What is it with people and pressing buttons? It's like this mystery that just screams to you. You may even know what happens when you press that button, but you cannot be sure until you press it. You just have this unnerving desire to know, right? We all do. Curiousity fills our veins, we thrive on it. There's this button, no matter how dull in appearence, it is a button and calls to the people of the world. "Do it, you know you want to!" We know we shouldn't, but we do it anyways. Reaching forwards, the excitement rises, what will the outcome be? The consequences could be endless, or they could be narrowed down to one. The mystery will not end, it will not stop pestering you until you complete the action. Until you lean forward and press the button. You want to, you yearn to, but will you? Will you finish the story? With a bang? Or will you simply walk away and leave well enough alone? You know how difficult that is, leaving it alone. Knowing that you could have changed the world, someone else's or your own, but you could've changed something. But you didn't. Do you turn back, go back and press that button? Or do you block it from your mind until the memory is no longer in existence. Does this bother you?
I'm not sure if it bothers you. But it seems to bother a lot of people I know. Because they often press my buttons. They know where they are, and they're curious, what would happen if I did this?
